Example of Product: Smart Automatic Vacuum Cleaner (SAVC)

A vacuum cleaner, commonly referred to as a "vacuum," is a device that uses an air pump to create a partial vacuum to suck up dust and dirt, usually from floors, and optionally from other surfaces as well. The dirt is collected by either a dust bag or a cyclone for later disposal. Vacuum cleaners, which are used in homes as well as in industry, exist in a variety of sizes and models: small battery-operated hand-held devices, domestic central vacuum cleaners, huge stationary industrial appliances that can handle several hundred litres of dust before being emptied, and self-propelled vacuum trucks for recovery of large spills or removal of contaminated soil.

Description

This SAVC is not ordinary vacuum because it’s differs from other robotic vacuums with its Visionary Mapping system where by using an infrared camera on its top, it maps out the ceiling as it manovers around. This vacuum dirt intelligently, using visual and infra-red sensors, and without blindly bumping into furniture, walls, or other objects. This SAVC initially takes a video of its surroundings, converts this into a digital blueprint of sorts, and then goes to work. In addition to high-tech elements such as processor chips, this SAVC has rotating brushes and sucks dirt like any conventional vacuum. It also returns to its charging station by itself when the power is low, then returns to the spot where it stopped to continue cleaning. A couple of hours of charging allow the device to clean for 90 minutes.
